Method
- Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, eggs, soy sauce and dashi to a thin batter.
- Dice the octopus. Chop the spring onion.
- Mix Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and a splash of soy sauce.
- Heat the takoyaki pan with vegetable oil until very hot. Fill the hollows with batter, add octopus and spring onion, and turn with a pick until round and gold.
- Top with the sauce, mayonnaise and nori. Serve hot.
