Method

  1. Brown lamb mince with onion, carrot, garlic and ginger in vegetable oil. Stir in garam masala, turmeric and tomato paste.
  2. Add chicken stock and peas. Simmer 15 minutes until thick. Boil potatoes, then mash with butter, salt and extra turmeric.
  3. Spoon the mince into a dish. Cover with the mash.
  4. Bake at 200C for 25 minutes until the top is gold. Scatter coriander.
