  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet. Soften the onion 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Stir in chili powder, garlic powder, cumin and salt until fragrant. Add tomato paste and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until no longer pink, 6 to 8 minutes. Stir in cheddar and cilantro off the heat.
  4. Warm the flour tortillas. Spoon in the beef and serve.
