  1. Heat the oven to 200 C. Boil the ziti in salted water until just shy of al dente. Drain.
  2. Warm the tomato passata with olive oil and torn basil. Stir in the ricotta off the heat.
  3. Spread a spoon of sauce in a baking dish. Layer half the pasta, half the mozzarella, and sauce.
  4. Repeat with the remaining pasta, sauce and mozzarella. Finish with parmesan.
  5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until bubbling. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
